Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Dev Lumina (“we”, “us”) collects through devlumina.in, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It is written to sit alongside the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Dev Lumina is a sole proprietorship registered in Chhattisgarh, India, and registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam Registration Number UDYAM-CG-06-0039284. Its proprietor is Nirmala.

2. What we collect
At present the website is a pre-launch page. We collect only what you type into one of two forms.
- Launch notification form
- Your email address.
- Corporate and bulk gifting enquiry form
- Your name, company name (optional), email address, phone number, approximate order quantity, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Technical information
- Our hosting provider records standard server and network information for every request, including IP address, browser user agent, referring page and timestamp. This is used for security and to keep the site available.
We do not ask for and do not want financial information, government identifiers, health information, or any other sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not send it to us.
3. Why we use it
- To email you once when we launch, if you asked to be notified.
- To reply to your gifting enquiry, quote for it, and follow up on it.
- To keep records of business enquiries and orders as Indian tax law requires.
- To detect and block abuse of our forms.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts. Nothing on this page profiles you or follows you to other websites.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
We use third-party service providers to run the site. Each of them handles data only to provide their service to us.

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside India. By submitting a form you agree to that transfer. We do not transfer data to any country the Government of India has restricted.
6. How long we keep it
- Launch list emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and in any case reviewed every two years.
- Gifting enquiries: up to three years from the last contact, so we can pick up a conversation you started.
- Enquiries that become orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep the records, currently up to eight years.
- Server logs: as retained by our hosting provider, typically a short rolling window.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information about you we hold;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete what we hold, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- stop sending you email, at any time, for any reason.
Write to hello@devlumina.in and we will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, so that we do not disclose your information to somebody else.
8. How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is restricted and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that transmission over the internet is free of risk.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Candles are not a children's product and should not be handled by children.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
